We’re taking jazz back to its roots. No big stage with fancy lights on this one. Experience the thrill of raw jazz improvisation in an intimate setting with a few friends or strangers.
If you’re a musician, bring your instrument and prepare to jump in on the action. This is a space for performance AND learning so don’t be shy! Pros and students welcome.
This event features a cast of BVI Jazz All Stars, as well as some top tier international jazz guest musicians. Dion Parson (drums) and Melvin Jones (trumpet) will pop in to share wisdom on what it’s like building a career in music and performing with everyone from Jon Faddis to Usher.
